I have heard that is difficult to get into dental hygiene school. I am 27 years old and I have never gone to college. Should I go to a community college?
I want to become a dental hygienist. Please help!?
Here are some links that you might find useful. I live in a town with a university with a dental hygiene school. Their program has certain requirements for each four years as to what courses to take and when to take them. I would imagine that most programs do. So I'd investigate that before enrolling in any community college. You wouldn't want to spend a year or two at a community college to learn that the courses couldn't or wouldn't be applied to your degree.
