Carreer help? psychologist and dental hygienist?

i am very interested in going to college at UCSC(university of california in Santa Cruz) or cabrillo community college ..i live in pennsylvannia..


1.)could i study pyschology at this college or study to become a dental hygienist





2.)and could anyone tell me (i no there are different types of psychologists, but overall) what the average salaray for a pyschologist would be....and also what the average salart for a dental hygientist would be





3.)and what are some good collleges for dental hygientist





4.)i am a sophmore in higschool and what are some courses i shuold take to prepare for either pychology or dental hygene?

Reply:You sure are worried for a sophmore. Psychology is easier to prepare for in high school than a dental hygenist.
Reply:I am currently working on my first degree in Psychology and I have come to find out that unless you have a masters or higher, the average wage is lower than 50-60k a year. I would suggest taking intro to psych to see if it appeals to you before you decide. Some colleges require it anyway. Good luck!
