What classes are best to take in high school if i want to become a dental hygienist?

are there any science classes or other classes that i should take in high school (next year, my senior year) if i want to become a dental hygienist?


or will college take care of all that?

Try to get chemistry out of the way, you will probably have to retake it in college but at least you will have a feel for it. Talk to your counsler also and see what other classes you school has to offer, anatomy, chemistry, speech...etc. All of these will help.Good Luck

Reply:I would recommend any biology, chemistry, typing and any hand dexterity courses like sculpting or art. I would also speak to your dental hygienist and ask her and maybe you could watch a little and see what they really do for a day or so.
